The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Development, Mr. Jean-Marc Ayrault, condemns in the strongest terms the bombings that targeted during the night of 11 August, a maternity located in the northwest suburbs of Aleppo . This outrageous attack resulted in several casualties. This medical facility is the subject of financial support from France since 2015. "France is deeply concerned about the humanitarian situation in the whole of Syria, especially in Aleppo. It calls for the immediate cessation of hostilities throughout the Syrian territory which alone make possible the resumption without delay of negotiations in the true spirit of responsibility. France calls for respect for international law and resolutions of the Security Council which require that either guarantee the protection of health workers and the establishment of an immediate humanitarian access, full, safe and unhindered." Installed since January 2015 near Aleppo, the maternity berruyère Medina Association, which hosts the civilian victims of the conflict, was bombed on the night of Thursday to Friday. Three weeks after the alarming state of affairs of the situation in Syria during our meeting with Medina, the maternity of the association, present in the suburbs of Aleppo, was bombed on the night of August 11 to 12.
