Uber has announced that they will be officially offering rides to and from the LAX airport. This comes as a surprise to the riders as the logistics community has been less than supportive of the app based taxi service since its 2013 conception. If the taxi drivers for the companies that existed before Uber were not upset they will most definitely have something to moan and groan about now. If you understand the value of this new revelation as an avid traveler then you will be praising Uber right now. If you are a driver for the original cab companies I would possibly think about switching over to Uber. Progressive change does not always have to mean it is negative. Change is necessary to survive, failure to adapt is failure to survive they say right? While it is understandable to the more traditional logistical minded individuals to not be comfortable with the change. They would be wise to get with the transition before these young millennial leave them behind. The only thing these youth understand anymore are meaningful quotes under shapeless pictures. In order to hail a cab one must take your hand off of the smart phone it is glued to. This will not happen, so if these drivers want to continue driving Uber is hiring.
