"I imagine taking my grandkids, if I´m lucky enough to have some, to the park someday, and holding their hands, and hearing their laughter, and watching a quiet sunset, all the while knowing that our work today prevented an alternate future that could have been grim; that our work, here and now, gave future generations cleaner air, and cleaner water, and a more sustainable planet. IT IS A HISTORIC MOMENT AND WE HAVE SUCCEEDED-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Today, nations of the world have come together to announce a historic achievement: the most ambitious global agreement to combat climate change.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It's the largest step the United States has ever taken to combat climate change. And under his leadership, other countries are following suit. China, Brazil, and more than 180 countries representing nearly 95% of global emissions have announced climate targets, or Intended Nationally Determined Contributions (INDCs).
