The Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Power, Coal and New and Renewable Energy, Mr. Piyush Goyal visiting the Indira Gandhi Super Thermal Power Project (IGSTPP-3×500 MW), Jhajjar, Haryana, on October 27, 2015.
Mr. Piyush Goyal, Union Minister of State (IC) for Power, Coal, New and Renewable Energy, visited Indira Gandhi Super Thermal Power Project (IGSTPP-3×500 MW), Jhajjar, Haryana on October 27. The Minister was accompanied with Mr. OP Dhankar, Minister for Agriculture, Govt. of Haryana, Mr. AK Jha, CMD, NTPC and Mr. UP Pani, Director(HR), NTPC. The dignitaries were welcomed by Mr. SK Sinha, CEO, Aravali Power Company Pvt. Ltd. and senior IGSTPP officials.
During his visit, Mr. Goyal inspected the power plant and reviewed its activities and performance. Addressing the media persons, the Minister stated that the Control Room, the Heart of the Power Plant is very impressive and he was particularly happy at the enthusiasm of the Team and the innovative work being developed for use in other Stations also. The dignitaries also planted saplings near the power plant.
