THE PONTIFF´S VISIT IN NEW YORK ON FRIDAY 25 GIVES A SPEECH AT UNITED NATIONS FOR THE 70TH ANNIVERSARY GENERA ASSEMBLY----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In the morning Pope Francis addressed to United Nations General Assembly : It was a remarkable Pope Francis' brief speech, one of the few given in English, to Staff at the U.N. Headquarters in New York. Before addressing the United Nations General Assembly in New York on Friday, Pope Francis, took time to greet and thank staff members at the UN Headquarters, the men and women whom he described as "the backbone of this Organisation".-------------------------------------------------------
The Pontiff addressed in a very simple manner and without jargon or demagoguery facing an audience composed of politicians and non politicians, members of civil society, NGOs from all nationalities, and other United Nations prompts for the 70th General Assembly in New York. He reminded of the elements of common sense and the interest of his neighbour in the same handle that one cares of his own fate, or their own children. "You are concerned about your children's welfare and education"..."You worry about the kind of world you will leave for future generations". The pope said.
The Ponitff's when speaking in his speech used a language that was clear and familiar to him and which he does not separated from the top of his pontifical function, try to enlighten the minds of simplicity in words and actions that must follow, in the goodness that ennobles man.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
For his first visit to the United States, Pope Francois, who comes from Argentina, south side of the same "American continent" recalled its origins to Italian immigrants from a family who has emigrated to the Argentina ... This merger on its own condition, seeks to remind that everyone is another immigrated, and that in these hard times of exile and tragedies of refugees leaving their countries in conflict, each must be able to soften towards these exiles of war. Pope Francis will thus mark its passage in the US, with a message of peace but more sassy than ever, given the current conditions of the world and the planet.---------------------------------------------------The Pope took this extraordinary opportunity to address the whole world through the microphone at the United Nations Headquarters in New York : "Care for one another. Respect one another". "Work not only for peace - but in peace".------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
